Chapter Scholarships
The IPC Education Foundation wants to recognize chapter related activities performed by individuals excelling as active student members and by student chapter entities. These awards will only be available in 2020 as it requires a 12-month history of involvement.
Chapter Awards will have two different categories:
1. Chapter Leadership Awards
This can be awarded to a student with excellent leadership skills, engaged in the community, showcase a real interest in the industry, perform well academically and have work experience? A real rounded achievement scholarship…. Something of this nature
Eligibility Requirements:
In order to apply for an IPC Chapter Leadership Award, applicants need to meet the following criteria:
- Be a member of the IPC Education Foundation
- Enrolled as a student (undergraduate or post graduate) at a recognized academic institution
- Pursing a qualification relating to the electronics manufacturing industry such as, but not limited to, engineering, computers, electronics and industrial technology.
- Serve in a leadership role at an IPC Student Chapter (optional)
2. Chapter Performance Awards
Chapter Performance Awards and funding can be provided to chapters who meet their goals in terms of planning events, promoting IPC on their campus, growing the membership etc.
Eligibility Requirements:
In order to apply for an IPC Chapter Performance Award, applicants need to meet the following criteria:
- Be a member of the IPC Education Foundation
- Enrolled as a student (undergraduate or post graduate) at a recognized academic institution
- Pursing a qualification relating to the electronics manufacturing industry such as, but not limited to, engineering, computers, electronics and industrial technology.
- Serve in a leadership role at an IPC Student Chapter (optional)
- Provide substantial information to showcase the activities the IPC Student Chapter performed based on the submission of an IPC Student Chapter Year in Review report.
