Join the Electronics Foundation Honor Society!
Joining the Electronics Foundation Honor Society for students in electronics engineering or manufacturing involves a nomination and/or application process based on academic merit, field of study, involvement in the industry, leadership or service that aligns with career aspirations, and extra-curricular activities that promote relevant skills.

Field of Study
You must be enrolled in an electronics engineering, electrical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a closely related program.

GPA Requirement
A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required. From an international perspective: A minimum cumulative academic percentage of 80% on a 100% scale is required.

Academic Standing
You must be a registered student at the time of application with a demonstrated academic record from a recognized academic institution and younger than 30 years of age.

Character & Leadership
You should be able to showcase a keen interest in pursuing a career in electronics manufacturing, upholding high moral character, demonstrated leadership skills, and involvement in extracurricular or professional activities that aligns with the industry.

Verification
Recommendations will be needed to verify the legitimacy of your application/nomination.
Application/Nomination Process
Step 1:
Nomination (depending on relationship):
- Faculty or current members may nominate eligible students.
- Invitations to join can also be extended based on eligibility requirements.
Step 2:
Application
- Submit an application
- Providing substantial evidence based on the eligibility requirements by providing a personal statement, GP and academic record, resume, and listing leadership, service and extra-curricular activities.
- Gather referral and/or letter of recommendation from faculty/mentor/instructor/supervisor for endorsement.
- Pay a one-time membership fee of $100 on acceptance to receive a membership certificate and digital badge, purchase specific graduation regalia, membership pin, and access to all the benefits.
Step 3:
Exclusive Scholarships & Awards
- Based on your profile, interviews may be conducted, or additional applications will be needed.
