2025 Student Liaison - Emily Daley
Personal Profile:
Emily Daley is a junior studying electrical engineering student at Michigan Technological University. Emily has wanted to pursue electronics since she was in elementary school watching her father as an electrician. She always wanted to build her own robot as a child and when she got to high school, Emily joined Robotics and FFA. Throughout her time in college Emily has taken on numerous leadership roles. She is currently on the executive board of Michigan Tech's IPC chapter. She has been very involved in the chapter and loves encouraging new students to join the IPC community and escalate their curiosity and desire to know more about the electronics field.
2026 Student Board Member Liaison Transition
The Electronics Foundation is pleased to announce an upcoming transition in the Student Board Member Liaison role. Beginning in March, Audrey will step into this position, officially taking over from Emily during APEX 2026. Until that time, Emily will continue to serve in the role to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.
Meet Audrey Smith

Audrey Smith is a junior studying electrical engineering at the University of Georgia. Inspired by her father, Audrey developed an early interest in engineering through hands-on projects they worked on together. Her passion for electronics deepened in college when she discovered circuit building and PCB design—skills she continued to refine through coursework and an internship at phasetwo2, where PCB design was a major focus.
Audrey is currently leading the launch of a Global Electronics Association student chapter at UGA and will serve as its Chapter President. She brings a strong commitment to student leadership, technical excellence, and community building, and we are excited to welcome her into this role as she begins serving students across the Electronics Foundation network.
