2025 IPC APEX EXPO - Best Student Technical Paper

$3,000 Scholarship + $1000 Award Prize

We were thrilled to recognize Attila Rektor, a PhD student in Materials Science at Boise State University, as the recipient of the Student Technical Paper Scholarship at IPC APEX EXPO.

Attila’s groundbreaking research, titled “Flexible Hybrid Electronics Created from a Multicomponent System of Electroless Copper on Laser-Induced Graphene,” was a standout among student submissions. His work demonstrated innovation, technical depth, and real-world application in the field of flexible electronics.

As part of this honor, Attila received a $3,000 scholarship and a $1,000 award, which were presented during the awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 18.

2025 IPC APEX EXPO - Best Student Technical Poster

$2,000 Scholarship

We are proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of Sebastian Carrillo, a student at California State University, Long Beach, who was named the Best Student Technical Poster Presenter during our poster session at IPC APEX EXPO in Anaheim, CA.

Sebastian’s poster, “Large Area Enhancement of Metal-Insulator-Metal Plasmonic Nanoarrays using Hot Grid,” captivated judges with its innovation, clarity, and technical depth. He truly impressed the audience and is well-deserving of this recognition.
