2025 Student Member Liaison - Emily Daley
Personal Profile:
Emily Daley is a junior studying electrical engineering student at Michigan Technological University. Emily has wanted to pursue electronics since she was in elementary school watching her father as an electrician. She always wanted to build her own robot as a child and when she got to high school, Emily joined Robotics and FFA. Throughout her time in college Emily has taken on numerous leadership roles. She is currently on the executive board of Michigan Tech's IPC chapter. She has been very involved in the chapter and loves encouraging new students to join the IPC community and escalate their curiosity and desire to know more about the electronics field. Emily looks forward to serving as the student member liaison this year and is excited to serve the IPC student community in her new role.

Overview:
The Electronics Foundation Student Chapter Program will select one (1) individual to represent the Student Member body to the Global Electronics Association's Board of Directors from January 2026 thru December 2026. The Liaison will speak on behalf of all Student Chapters and Student Members belong to the Electronics Foundation to assist the Global Electronics Association Board of Directors in making decisions pertaining to the Program and/or its student members. The individual should be knowledgeable of the current student chapters, individual and chapter requirements, and the day-to-day management of their student chapter. The Liaison will act in the best interest of the Electronics Foundation's Student Chapters and its Student Members. This application is due by the end of the day on Friday, October 31st.
Position Requirements:
Must meet the following: Current Student Member enrolled through 2026, Serve currently or intend to serve in a leadership role or intend to take up a leadership position in the next term at the Student Chapter; Cumulative and semester/quarter GPA of 3.0 or above; Exhibit leadership, initiative, professionalism, dependability, and enthusiasm; Must have a valid U.S. or International Passport to travel internationally through 2026 (it is likely that one of the Face to Face meetings is in the US and the other is abroad - all necessary travel expenses covered by the Global Electronics Association).

Henry served as IPC Board of Directors Student Member Liaison in 2023. He is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Utah studying electrical engineering.

Hannah Nelson
2022
Hannah was IPC Board of Directors Student Member Liaison in 2022. She graduated from Valparaiso University where she served as the IPC student chapter president. Hannah is now working as an Application Engineer at Texas Instruments.

Paige Fiet
2020-2021
Paige served as IPC Board of Directors Student Member Liaison from 2020 - 2021. She graduated from Michigan Technological University and currently works as a Quality Engineer at TTM Technologies in Logan, Utah.
